Milšped company recognizes young people as an important part of the community, and their education as the key driver for society development.
With that in mind, we are starting the scholarship program that will last from October 2023 to June 2024, with an aim to support young and ambitious people to choose a direction in their professional career and gain their first work experience in a real business environment of Milšped Group.
Visits to the company during the scholarship will include introduction to the company and its organizational structure, corporate culture, as well as thorough introduction to the sectors in the field of operations they chose, through different workshops, case studies, trainings, etc.
By providing scholarships for students, Milšped is also investing in its own future, because the company encourages students to obtain professional development in the fields they chose, by directing their professional careers and developing competences, with support from expert mentors and getting familiar with the latest work technologies in logistics.
Who can apply?
Based on the call for applications, the company will grant at least 20 student scholarships, supporting the best final-year students of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, Faculty of Organizational Sciences and the Faculty of Economics, as well as master’s students. About the scholarship program:
Through the scholarship program, students will have the opportunity to participate in different activities that will improve their knowledge and skills acquired at the university.
A monthly scholarship of EUR 400 (for the period of 9 months from October 2023 to June 2024), with the condition that, after they graduate in the stipulated time, they get employed and stay in the company for at least 2 years after graduation.
To apply for the student scholarship program, the following requirements should be met:
- Average grade of 8 or higher in the course of previous studies;
- Participation in a business (case study) simulation program organized by our company;
- An interview with the HR and representatives of the sector.
To apply for our scholarship program, you should send a CV and a motivation letter no later than October 31, 2023, with the specified business field you wish to work and be trained in:
For the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, the following fields are available: Vehicle logistics, Less than Truck Load and Partial Truck Load, International Road Transport - Full Truck Load, International Road Transport Fleet, Air Transport, Ship Transport and Warehousing;
For the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, the following fields are available: Vehicle logistics, International Road Transport - Full Truck Load, International Road Transport Fleet, Regional and Local Transport, Distribution, Warehousing;
For the Faculty of Economics: Finance.
After the review of the CVs and motivational letters, candidates are selected and invited for an interview and further testing. The student scholarship program will be implemented in the school year 2023/2024 (in the period between October and June).
The candidates we choose will have to regularly visit the company, i.e. the sector they applied for, with support from a mentor, and following a defined schedule.
